Sasha and I go back a long way. Since 2002 — I made her a stage outfit that year, and she has been wearing A.D.Deertz on several of her solo records since. For the shoot for their new single they came with our friend, stylist Hugo Schneider, and chose matching outfits from the collection.

Sasha — known as Perera Elsewhere, Berlin-based, UK-raised — is a trumpeter, DJ, producer, and one of the people who helped shape Berlin's electronic music scene. Andy S is an Ivorian rapper whose slogan says it all: the best rapper in Côte d'Ivoire is a female.

Their new double single F*ck Le System / Time Will Tell is out now. Two tracks, two moods: one a jolt of electro-rap and tech-dancehall, the other darker, bass-heavy, glitch-infused. Both fierce.

The collaboration was born from a friendship that started at Sasha's Boiler Room set in Berlin. Her fourth album Just Wanna Live Some follows in October.
