Concert Index Ñuul Kuuk @ A.D.Deertz

In September 2024 we hosted Index Ñuul Kuuk for a live show in front of the store on Torstrasse. Index is a solo artist from Saint-Louis, Senegal — his name means "very black" in Wolof, and his music carries that depth.
It was a Saturday afternoon. By the time he started playing, people were dancing on the sidewalk in Berlin Mitte — which, if you know Berlin, is not something that happens easily. It was one of those afternoons that felt like it belonged somewhere else entirely.
Index is a poet and musician with an extraordinary voice and energy — one of those artists who fills a room without trying. He is also a close friend and long-time collaborator. Our connection to Saint-Louis runs deep, and he is part of what makes it so.
