Indigo as favourite color
our by far favourite color is Indigo. A dye deep-blue-violet dye colour has been used in textiles across cultures for centuries. This particular fabric was made by fifth generation family business, founded in 1876 to manufacture our garments. ´Since 2017 Albini Group has been a member of Better Cotton Initiative, a not-for-profit organization that aims to make global cotton production progressively better for the people who produce it, for the environment and for the future of the sector. ´ ( as the Albini Group describes it)
Nature as our inspiration
We’ve always linked our naming conventions back to nature, with all of our collared long sleeve shirts named after a River. The Oreto shirt is named after an Italian river. The fabric it’s a mid-weight cotton, with a beautiful two-tone pattern sourced in Italy, the buttons are made from shells, real mother-of-pearl - because we know details change everything. Exquisitely crafted in Portugal in a small quantity.
Always choose comfort
Our collection of short sleeve shirts are cut to fit the body perfectly, they feature a camp collar made in cotton & linen. We know clean base colours are the most versatile pieces you’ll own and we’ve designed this collection with that in mind. We’ve also found some sublime prints, from florals to fine linen stripes to add some texture. What’s most ideal about our shirts is that you can wear them on their own, or layer them up over plain t shirts.
